Assistenza
My Books Archive catalogues the books you own: point the camera at the barcode and the record fills itself in. This page answers what people ask most often. If your question is not here, write to us — a person replies, not a system.
Three things help us answer quickly: which phone you use, which version of the app (at the bottom of Settings) and what you were doing when it happened.
The details come from public catalogues, which are patchy for some editions. You can correct any field by hand, and your corrections stay: scanning the same book again does not undo them. If the cover is missing or the barcode is not recognised, add the book by searching for its title or author instead.
The sign-in screen has Forgot your password?: type your email address and you will get a link to choose a new one.
If you signed in with Apple or Google you have no password — use the same button you first registered with.
The free plan holds 50 titles, with every feature. Past that, a Pro subscription — monthly or yearly — lifts the limit. Whatever you already catalogued stays yours and readable even if you stop: the limit blocks adding, never reading.
On Android subscriptions are not available yet, and the free limit is 500 titles.
Subscriptions are managed where you bought them, not inside the app: on iPhone in Settings → your name → Subscriptions. You can cancel there, and it stays active until the end of the period you already paid for. On Android there is nothing to cancel: the subscription is not on sale yet.
Groups are off until you turn them on. Before joining one you read, in full, what the others will see; your notes, your rating and the room a book is kept in stay private either way. You can leave a group whenever you want, and your books stop being visible immediately.
You can do it yourself, in a minute: Settings → Delete account, at the bottom of the page. What is deleted, what stays and what to do if you can no longer sign in are explained on the Deleting your account page. How we handle data, and the rights you have by law, are in the privacy policy.
